Factors affecting the quote: distance and flight route, type of aircraft (medical jet, turboprop, etc.), patient's medical condition, medical crew configuration, equipment required on board, ECMO transport, international formalities and overflight/landing permits.
Indicative estimates:
- European flights: from approximately €11,000 – €80,000
- Intercontinental flights: can exceed €60,000 – €520,000
Repatriation with medical escort on scheduled flight (stretcher on board / business seat / extra seat): significantly lower costs. European flights from ~€7,000 – €30,000 (stretcher), ~€4,000 – €20,000 (business), ~€3,000 – €15,000 (extra seat); intercontinental may exceed these ranges.

On average, timing depends on how quickly medical documents and “Fit to Fly” or “Fit to Go” assessment are obtained:
- Air ambulance: can take off within 6–24 hours.
- Air medical escort on scheduled flights: depends on airline approvals (MEDIF form), usually 32–48 hours.
- Road ambulance: estimated 2–10 hours depending on patient condition and oxygen consumption.
It is our full service that guarantees continuity of care: we pick up the patient by ambulance from the origin hospital bed, perform supervised air or road transport and hand them over directly to the medical team at destination.
Yes. Depending on aircraft type and space required for medical equipment, usually 1 or 2 escorts can travel free of charge with the patient.
All our aircraft are equipped with mobile intensive care (ICU) units: mechanical ventilators, multiparameter monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps and blood gas analysers, all EASA/FAA certified.
The standard team consists of a flight doctor (ATI or Emergency specialist) and a flight nurse (nurse certified in aeromedical flights). For paediatric cases we include neonatology or paediatrics specialists.
We operate globally. We repatriate patients from Europe, Asia, America and Africa, with collaborations with renowned clinics in Turkey, Austria, Germany and Israel.
